Raifuku is known for its “fruity,” “graceful sweetness,” “juicy,” and “plumpness,” and we conceptualized it by combining these qualities with Daifuku. President Fujimura said with a laugh, “We are sometimes mistaken for Daifuku, so it's good that it fits our image.

Sake rice / Nationwide contract rice

Brewed with natural flower yeast using many varieties of sake rice. This sake is brewed with a single-minded focus on quality.
Founded in 1716 by an Omi merchant in a good water location at the foot of Mt.
The brand name “Raifuku” is derived from the haiku “Fukushi ya kurimu,” which means “the happiness of coming” and “the pine tree at the gate of the smiling Kamido.
We are particular about the rice and water used to make our products, and we brew our products with the hope that they will bring good fortune to the customers who drink them.
Raifuku Brewery uses about 10 varieties of sake brewing rice and natural flower yeast. Some of the sake brewing rice is grown locally under contract. Currently, we use rice from all over Japan, but we intend to increase the amount of local rice used each year. Most of the yeast is also cultivated in-house. Good rice produces good koji, which is mixed with good yeast to produce Raifuku Sake Brewery's products.
