The result is a sake with an interesting flavor. It has a refreshing aroma of muscat, melon, and lime, and an herbal aroma reminiscent of mint and white flowers. In general, the aroma is more floral than fruity. The contrast between the clean, clean mouthfeel with no hint of clutter, the moderate spread of sweetness, and the acidity of Japanese citrus fruits such as hassaku is interesting, resulting in a sake with an exotic taste with a Western influence.
