CONCEPT
The moment you put it in your mouth, “Pow!“ and bouncing in your mouth.
the moment you take a sip.
Tonoike Shuzoten has three brands: “Sanran”, “Tonoike”, and “Bo:”. Of these, “Bo:” was launched in 2012 as a limited distribution brand. “Bo:” is a new concept sake launched as a challenge to the sake of tomorrow, such as sake as a luxury item and sake as a culture, by looking far beyond the tip of the toe, and is made by a young team led by Makoto Ono, the toji. The Nozomu series is all unfiltered sake with an alcohol content of 16 degrees Celsius. All Mochi series sake are unfiltered, pure sake with 16% alcohol by volume, and junmai sake with no alcohol added. The aim is to create a refreshing, clear, light, and mellow sake with a mildly sweet taste that is addictive. The moment you put it in your mouth, you will feel the bright impression of “poof! The moment you take a sip, you will be surprised by the bright impression of this sake. This was my impression when I first drank Nozomu. I asked President Tonoike to create an original sake that maximizes and expresses this characteristic, and this product was born. Splash!”, which means splashing or splashing water. . Our goal was to create a fresh and juicy sake with a gaseous taste.

This label was created in response to a request to create an impressive product with a design that employs collage art, which is unusual for a sake label.
The collage is a combination of the main kanji character for “Bo:” and the image of Splash.
The typeface of “Bo:” expresses an original typeface that has evolved from a traditional brush typeface to a new form with an eye toward the future.
ORIGARAMI: The design is based on the image of water bouncing off the surface of the water, and is decorated with splashing objects.
Nama-Sake: The colorful expression of bouncing water evokes the depth of flavor and draws the viewer's interest.
Hiire: The design uses images of birds flying out of the water, sake rice, water, and fish swimming in a clear stream.
