CONCEPT
Moe Ibuki + Super Dry (Karakuchi) = Moekara.
Contrary to its charming appearance, this authentic dry sake was born!
The first release of Tenpoichi's Concept Worker's Selection was in February 2022. From the beginning, we used rose yeast and named the subtitle “Style” because of its floral aroma and plump taste with a little sweetness, and developed the product with different illustrations of flowers.
After three years had passed, we consulted with the brewer and asked, "Shall we try a super-dry version that is the complete opposite? He said, "That's a good idea. Our regular super-harakuchi is made with Senbon-Nishiki, so how about using Moeibuki, a new sake rice developed by the prefecture?" I think it's a good idea. I think it's a good idea. Moeibuki and dry sake make ‘Moekara’. It sounds like a karaoke bar. And so, this product was born.
Brewery / Tenpoichi
Tenpoichi is a well-established brewery that has been in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture for over 100 years. President Murakami, who loves to eat, is dedicated to brewing sake with the concept of “a supporting role that makes the most of Japanese ingredients and food culture,” aiming to create a crisp sake that enhances the flavor of food and accompanies meals that become more delicious the more one drinks.
