CONCEPT
The impression of a serious and reserved brewer is reversed,
The concept of this sake expresses the “sake-loving girl” in an aggressive manner.
What do you recall when you think of Yamaguchi's sake? Is it the now famous “Dassai”? Or “Gangi” or “Toyo Bijin” in the same city as Otters? The Iwasaki Sake Brewery introduced here is a small brewery in Hagi City, famous for its Hagi-yaki pottery, with an annual production of about 300 koku. At the time of its founding, the Iwasaki family, the brewery's owner, had a string of births of girls, and the name “Choyo Fukumusume” was given in the hope that these girls would grow up to be good and blessed daughters.
The concept of Choyo Fukumusume, which is to be close to the drinker and to the meal, is not flashy, but has a gentle taste that seems to seep into the body. The Choyo Fukumusume Active Series is an original sake that preserves this flavor while adding an interesting twist to the concept.
Brewery / Iwasakishuzou co., Ltd.
The watchword of our sake brewing is “harmony brewing good sake”.
Even in the harsh and uncompromising environment of sake brewing, we maintain friendly communication and are always striving to improve our sake brewing.
Iwasaki Sake Brewery was founded in 1901 by the founder, Kozaemon Iwasaki. The brewery was founded a short distance northeast of the current brewery, but soon took over the current brewery and has continued to brew sake in its current location in Higashida-cho, Hagi City. Since its founding, the brewery has been particular about the quality of the rice used to make its sake, and the brewery owner and brewers are united in their efforts to produce high quality sake. The brewery produces a very small amount of sake (about 300 koku), mainly in the cold of winter, when it is easier to produce good quality sake, and produces excellent sake, mainly junmai ginjo and junmai sake with a special name.

――――――
The request was for “a girl in a kimono trying out an active sport. It was a difficult request, but I had always wanted to work on a sake label, which I love, so I had a lot of fun drawing it. It was quite difficult to give the kimono girl a sense of speed. I think the sake-loving girl seriously trying her hand at the activity made for a funny label.
