CONCEPT /
The elegant and graceful taste, reminiscent of the sake on display, is
like swimming leisurely in a moonlit night.
The overall impression is of Motoyama Shoten, a sake brewery that brews sake with a gorgeous aroma and a full, juicy flavor. As a concept worker's selection, we chose to use local rice “Sagabiyori” and combine it with Saga Hagakure yeast “SAWA-1” developed by the prefecture, in order to have people who are not yet familiar with Motomine Tsuru drink it. The fresh mouthfeel, soft and extended sweetness spreading to the palate, and the long and rich lingering image is like a graceful exhibit sake.

Kiyama Shoten is located in Kiyama-cho, the easternmost part of Saga Prefecture, on the border with Fukuoka Prefecture. Ayako Komori, the elder sister, is active in events and sales, while her younger brother, Kenichiro Komori, is in charge of brewing. The brewery is not well-equipped, but the lack of facilities is covered by the human efforts of the brewery's master brewer, Kenichiro Komori, and his team.
